I am grateful for CLIA's online training modules that provide our students with the knowledge and tools they need as they head out into the industry to start their careers! I have worked in the travel industry for over 33 years, teaching travel and tourism for the last 12 and I personally appreciate the amount of knowledge the students gain, and the ease of the training tools that CLIA provides for our students. Thank you CLIA for providing our future industry professionals with the knowledge they need to succeed!!

Isabel Valerio, Professor, School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts Centennial College

This program is fun and chalk-full of what students need to know to be successful in cruising and sales.

The students who completed the program provided a lot of feedback. The enjoyed the program, are more likely to pursue cruising and travel agency positions and understand the industry far better.

The system CLIA uses is so user friendly. What a great software for engaging the students in an immersive environment!

Se Eun Lee, PhD, Hospitality Management, Director, Central Washington University-Des Moines Center

After completing both the Meetings and Events at Sea and the Certified Cruise Counsellor (CCC) courses, I can’t express how much I learned and how valuable they will be to our students.

The participating students are really enjoying the program.

Mary Beth Leone, CHA, Professor, Hospitality and Tourism, College of DuPage

The program is so well organized! The students are definitely better-prepared to become travel agents, cruising professionals, and reservations agents with completion of the program.

The software is intuitive and thoughtful from the user experience angle! Same for the content curation. The depth and breadth are impressive.

Student feedback has been excellent. They have appreciated the ease of use.

Justin Taillon, Professor, Department Head, Hospitality & Tourism Management Highline College

The SOTCI program was an excellent way for students to learn about the Cruise Line Industry from the experts. The content was organized, clear and easy for students to access at their own pace. I appreciated being able to access my students test results to aid in evaluating learning outcomes. CLIAs leadership made the program accessible and manageable. I will definitely be using the program again in the future to complement the materials my students are learning in the classroom
