CLIA Porto - Destination Showcase

Our Showcase will head overseas in Autumn 2023, as we host an immersive cruise event in the Portuguese city of Porto. All delegates will visit Norwegian Prima as part of the event, with additional ship visit options to include the ultra-luxury Seabourn Ovation and a number of river cruise ships. Porto is a cruise destination for both river cruise on the Douro, and for ocean cruise, and this gives us a great opportunity for travel agents who wish to explore both elements.

Destination education will play a key role throughout the event, with business sessions covering this topic as well as the invitation to join local tours and excursions in Porto itself. Porto is a magnificent city, and a real highlight of many cruise holidays, so first-hand knowledge of the experiences available in the city will be really helpful for travel sellers.

The Showcase will be hosted in conjunction with local Headline Sponsors, who will work with us to deliver the event, and provide preferential rates for your hotel accommodation in the city. The full programme commences early on Friday 6th, so all delegates will require outbound travel on Thursday 5th. The Conference programme closes at approximately 2pm on Sunday 8th. Both travel to/from Porto, transfers to and from the airport, accommodation and personal expenditure for the duration of the event are at the arrangement and expense of individual attendees.
