CLIA UK & Ireland Executive Committee
Overseeing all of the work of CLIA in the UK & Ireland is the CLIA Executive Committee made up of some of the most senior cruise line leaders. This group of leaders meet regularly to support the development of the 3-year strategy and delivery of events, resources, learning and media relations.

CLIA UK & Ireland Steering Committee
Developed over the past 3 years, the Steering Committee is made up of experts from across the industry. The Committee oversees the important work undertaken by CLIA around Government liaison and consultation; and it helps devise the CLIA strategies of working with Government for the sustainable growth of the cruise industry.

NEW WORKING & ACTION GROUPS
In 2022 CLIA reimagined the Working Group structure to provide a wide industry view of the approach that CLIA and the industry could take to better support our travel agent partners. CLIA UK & Ireland have three Working Groups comprised of key Cruise Line Executives and thought leaders. These experts in the cruise industry offer support to CLIA and provide direction in how we work with our valued trade partners and members.
Our trade working groups have devised a Mission Statement that sums up our support for the trade - To Inspire, Engage and Influence Travel Partners Through CLIA Membership
In 2022, we created a new position for each of our Trade Working Groups, with a Mentor from the CLIA Executive Committee. CLIA would like to thank Jo Rzymowska, Lynn Narraway, Peter Shanks and Robert Scott for their support in mentoring their respective Groups.
CLIA Trade Engagement Action Group
The Trade Engagement Action Group comprises of 10 key Cruise Line Executives and thought leaders. The Trade Engagement Action Group meet regularly throughout the year to offer practical input to CLIA, and act as an advisory group, helping steer activity and promote the association to the travel agent community.
The Trade Engagement Action Group is also available as a travel agent contact service, providing member access to a huge range of expertise and experience in all aspects of the Cruise Industry. CLIA Specialist Cruise Working Group (Expedition, River & Ultra-Luxury)
The Specialist Cruise Working Group comprises of 8 key Cruise Line Executives and thought leaders. The Working Group meet regularly throughout the year to offer practical input to CLIA, related to Expedition, River and Ultra-Luxury cruising activities and promotion amongst the travel agent community.

The Education Task Force comprises of 6 key Cruise Line Executives and thought leaders. They meet regularly throughout the year to offer practical input to CLIA, and act as an advisory group, helping steer both online and offline activity related to the education and training of our travel agent members.

Strategic Communications Working Group
Working across trade, consumer and social media, this Group supports the development of the strategy for media relations, for story-telling, and for engaging key individuals that support the continued growth of the cruise industry

Travel Agent Working Groups
CLIA has established two new Working Groups in 2022 with leaders from the travel agent community. These Groups feedback on new initiatives, provide insights and support industry work. There are two Working Groups, one for the UK and one for Ireland.
