To access the online cruise training and unique trade resources, all Agents are invited to create their own
personal “Individual Agent Membership” (IAM) with us. The only requirement ahead of this is that you work for an
Agency that holds CLIA membership, or as an Independent agent, you have set up your Homeworker Agency membership
first.
We have two Agency membership categories available; STANDARD and
HOMEWORKER. The membership benefits extended to individuals at each are identical
– the only difference being the number of Individual Agent Memberships (IAMs) they can host.
We also invite Colleges or Universities with Travel and Tourism courses wishing to access the training to
join our ALPHA Membership programme, offering up to 50 Individual Agent Memberships
(IAMs) for their students.

agency based at home, with no separate business address. If both Individual Agent Memberships (IAMs) are being

I am an InteleTravel (UK) agent looking for CLIA membership:
Setting up CLIA membership in the UK & Ireland is a slightly different process from the North American
method where InteleTravel agents affiliate to the Head Office’s membership. InteleTravel UK agents are
asked to create their own Homeworker Agency membership at a discounted InteleTravel rate. This link will take you directly to the application (prompting you to login first with
the same details as previously created), where you should add all the details of your personal franchise.
On the first page of the application where you enter your franchise information, there is also a section
asking about “Consortia Information”. If you select “Yes” in the first drop-down, you
will then have the option to select “Inteletravel (UK)” in the next drop-down. With this selected,
you should be offered the Homeworker InteleTravel rate on the next (“Membership Options”) page.

I work in the Finance and Administration – should I still access cruising.org to arrange
the
payment on behalf of my Agency?
Yes – we understand that if you work in the Finance and Administration of your Agency, you
may not
need any of the usual access to training or resources at cruising.org. This is no problem. Once
the
Agency application has been made, there is no requirement for you to proceed with an Individual
Member
Application (IAM) - so your Agency still retains all of its available profiles. Do keep a note
of your
complimentary website login details, so that you can use it again at the time of renewal.
As the person completing the Agency Application, you will automatically be assigned as the Key Contact for
your agency. This can be re-assigned via the “My Company Profile” page once a colleague who would prefer to
manage these day-to-day responsibilities has created their own Individual Agent Membership.

I am a Homeworker – do I also have to create Individual Agent Memberships (IAMs)?
Yes – just as with a Standard Agency Membership, following the creation and payment of your
Homeworking Agency Membership, you are invited to proceed to the Individual Agent Memberships
(IAMs)
application, to make use of the two available profiles. The first stage of this will ask you to
affiliate with the new Homeworking Agency Membership you have just created and paid for.
