Cruising With Confidence
Discovering the neighbourhoods onboard Wonder of the Seas
By Kelly Taylor - Taylor made travel @ The Holiday Village
After freshening up, we headed out to explore the 8 neighbourhoods and came across Central Park first. I felt like I had been teleported to New York - it certainly didn’t feel like I was on a cruise ship. There was greenery, trees, park benches and topiary hedges of animals, the Park Cafe, Giovanni’s Italian, 150 Central Park, Chops Grille, shops and we came across the Trellis Bar where we had a cheeky cocktail.
Further along Central Park was the Rising Tide Bar which you board and it moves slowly up through the decks while you sit having a drink. It was so quirky and fun.
Feeling a bit peckish we went up to Deck 16 where we had a delicious snack and cocktail at El Locos - tacos, rice, salad and some other nibbles. We then started playing the game quiz ‘Wonder has arrived’ - it was a fantastic way to explore all areas of the ship and I actually managed to clock up over 35,000 steps in 2 days!
